What Happened: The Masters begin tomorrow bright and early, and to say there is a front-runner would be an understatement.
Judging by public sentiment, Scottie Scheffler has this thing in the bag already. Think he’s already cooked up what the menu will look like for his Champions Dinner?
Why It Matters: You, dear reader, stand to make big money if a golfer not named Scheffler ends up donning the green jacket.
Scheffler is the only participant with odds in the triple-digits, coming in at +475 on ESPN BET. Maybe it’s time to take a look a little further down the board?
Xander Schauffele (+1600) seems due for his first major, while Brooks Koepka (+1400) is always a threat at Augusta. Ludvig Aberg (+2800) is off to a scorching start in his pro career, and Tom Kim (+12500) has found enough success at an early age to invoke the name Tiger…Woods, that is, who is +10000 himself to capture his sixth green jacket.

Yesterday we waxed poetic about Elly De La Cruz’s immense talent and electric game. Then we got blessed with news that Jackson Holliday is getting the call to the bigs.
Holliday is the best prospect in baseball, and the son of Matt Holliday, just in case you didn’t feel washed up enough today.
Without having taken an at-bat in MLB yet, the Baltimore SS is already second on FanDuel to win the AL ROY award at +300, trailing only Wyatt Langford (+260) of the Rangers.
It’s a good day for baseball, and we’re glad Baltimore is doing away with the service time shenanigans to let Holliday get on the field and do cool shit like he was born to.
The Look Ahead
Chet Holmgren POINTS – Holmgren carries a 14.5-point line into tonight’s matchup against the Spurs, a team that ranks 22nd in defensive rating and 24th in points allowed per game. The Thunder big man, meanwhile, is averaging 16.6 PPG in his last three outings, and has scored 15+ points in 10 of his last 15.
Evan Mobley POINTS – Mobley and the Cavs will look to capitalize against a Grizzlies squad coming off two straight losses. Memphis allowed 102+ in both of those losses and has kept an opponent under 100 points just once in its last eight tries. Mobley has reached the 20-point mark in five of his last six, which is why we like him at 15.5 tonight.
Connor Bedard SOG – The Calder shoo-in had a quiet night in Sunday’s 4-0 loss to Minnesota, recording a single shot on net. But prior to that, he let off 31 shots in seven games, getting to 4+ in six of those contests. We also like the fact that the Blues give up 32.3 SOG (eighth-worst), meaning there should be plenty of chances to go around.
