What Happened: The deadline for NFL teams to use the franchise tag was yesterday. Stars such as Brian Burns of the Panthers and Tee Higgins of the Bengals will not be hitting the open market this offseason, but a glut of talented players are now free agents. The question is, where will they end up?
Why It Matters: With even more salary cap space than anticipated, teams are going to be ready to spend to add talent. Will the Falcons (+350) make a play for QB Baker Mayfield? Is there a chance Chris Jones waves goodbye to Kansas City and chases the bag to Houston (+400) or Detroit (+500)? Big names switching teams can have ripple effects on playoff and Super Bowl odds as well, so best pay attention.

Awed by Jason Kelce and his attention to details. No, we haven’t been breaking down tape at FCS HQ, we’re talking about Kelce’s retirement announcement. Namely, bringing back an Eagles trainer, Joe O’Pella, to tape his ankle one last time, after O’Pella was forced to miss Kelce’s last game as a player due to cancer treatments. A Hall of Fame player, Kelce went above and beyond to highlight all of the people in the Eagles organization that help keep the lights on. Pretty cool in our book.

Andrew Wiggins ASSISTS – Wiggins has missed Golden State’s last four games for personal reasons, but he’s due back in the lineup against the Bucks tonight. He enters tonight on a five-game streak of at least two assists. You don’t want to miss out if Wiggins picks back up where he left off.
